Mark my words, love the idea or hate it, all the bookstores are planning on this move into the digital format sooner than you think. Barnes and Nobles all over the country have stations dedicated to their still unreleased Nook, e-ink devices are becoming more prevalent at Best Buys, Targets, and smaller bookstore chains like Books-A-Million.
I say start collecting your beautiful trade-paper editions now, because hard copies of non-coffee table books are about to be the new vinyl.
